Kundalini Yoga, also called the Yoga of Awareness, is a dynamic form of yoga that combines breath, movement, meditation, rhythmic sound and deep relaxation. It is taught in a specific sequence of exercises (kriyas) that release tension, energize, and create optimum health by strengthening the nervous and immune systems, balancing the glands, and creating a heightened level of awareness. These benefits are available to people of all levels of experience. While each class maintains a consistent structure, every class is also unique, as there are many different kriyas, targeting specific benefits for the mind, body and spirit.
